Rule 1. Don’t do it.
Rule 2. Don’t do it.
Rule 3. Don’t do it.
Don’t do it because it distances people. Don’t do it because it damages relationships. Don’t do it because it doesn’t work.
That being a given, how are we to deal with the obligation of a Jew to be concerned for the good of his neighbor? How are we to fulfill the obligation to give tochacha?
